Alex turned 4 this month!!!

Birthday girl loving her some undiluted pink lemonade at her party! A definite birthday present:)

 Blowing out FOUR candles

Her Strawberry Shortcake theme was brought to life with my mamaw's strawberry cake recipe :) YUM YUM!!!

So thankful my kiddos have not outgrown backyard parties yet! And so thankful that we had PERFECT weather! Thanks to all who came and helped make this a special day!

"Fruity" stuff became the theme also in which we had "fruit" activities, too. The kids were supposed to make Fruit Loop necklaces, but most all of them ended up eating the cereal instead. ha!

David was caught chomping on the entire bowl!!! He loved his first exposure to Fruit Loops!

Luke joined the party via Mimi's arms most of the time :)

We also had a fruit hunt in which a few dads and 2 older boys helped hide lemons, limes and oranges. Then the other kiddos hunted them down. We had prizes for the top finders.

Caroline hunting away

Rayne must have found one in the clubhouse and slid down as she was one of our top finders :)

Since Daddy was flying to San Francisco the afternoon after her party, Alex got to open her present from us the week before so Daddy could help her practice riding. She loved her bike!

Poor David wanted to ride her bike so bad...he's just a wee bit short.

Random Stuff

They often have such creative minds when they play.
Here: pjs, blankets and rain boots ???

Alex dressed up in a hodge podge assortment

Alex dressed David up, too. Ha!

Trying out the sleep sack to keep little man warm as he learned to wiggle out of any man made swaddle. Sack got too hot so we tried...

...a velcro swaddle. and yes, that turkey learned how to wiggle out or either screamed when couldn't most of the time. Now, he is officially a tummy sleeper 100% of the time...no swaddle needed!

Mommy's first outing with the Baby Bjorn to a women's luncheon to hear Lysa Terkeurst speak - awesome woman of God. She was so encouraging and inspiring, yet down to earth.

Luke's first walk in the stroller. He slept the entire time.

David and Alex wished Luke could fit on their stroller during the walk :)

Luke was about 6lbs 3.5 oz here. I'm sure he is over 7lbs now :)

David so sweetly playing airplane with Luke. Luke watched him intently.
Can't wait for them to play together one day :)

Here's a picture I found of Mimi giving Luke a bath when he was itty bitty :) So cute! He is growing so fast!!!
