Baby Bedding

While we were away on our trip down south, I finally found baby bedding. I had been looking for a while and could not decide. Chris' mom and I found the perfect bedding at Expectations in Hattiesburg, MS. It is called Animal Crackers by Lambs and Ivy. It is basically a safari theme with a girly flare - daisies, pink and white polka dots, etc. I was looking for a daisy theme and suprisingly found it amongst some cute safari animals. The design has various colors of pink, green, yellow, orange and white with pink being the main focus. As the picture shows many accents with animals, we are going to accent with daisies instead. I can't wait for it to come in to start setting up and decorating the baby room.

Graduation in New Orleans

After pressing on for 6 years of seminary while supporting Chris in medical school and now residency, working, and moving states, we see the light shining bright at the end of the tunnel. Seminary has almost come to a close. Most of you would think that graduation means it is over. However, I still have 2 more classes this summer in New Orleans to be completely done. I am allowed to walk now, but will not receive my diploma until the end of the summer assuming I pass Greek 1 and 2. :)

Graduating from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary was very special as family and friends came to celebrate with us. Also, I saw many friends from the Clinton, MS extension center where I did most of my classes. Seminary was a challenging road as I juggled working, studying, ministry, friends and family. However, it was such a blessing! I am very thankful to God for this opportunity and know that only He could have carried me through it as I strived to be obedient to this calling.

The Beach

Well, it has been a while since we posted...much longer than we planned. We have taken a 9 day getaway during this blogging hiatus that included going to Destin with family, visiting friends and family in MS and Rebecca graduating from seminary in New Orleans.

The beach was very relaxing and refreshing. We went with Chris' family, yet, Rebecca's family came for one night to visit. We had a great time and were so thankful for the beautiful weather and beaches.
