Meet David Edward Lee
David only weighed one ounce more than Alex, but is almost 2 inches longer. He seems so skinny. Chris' mom says he looks like Chris did when he was born with long arms and legs. Despite his length, he looks so much like Alex did when she was born!
"What have I got myself into out here?" Yes, he has a dimpled chin like Daddy and Alex.
Alex meeting "Baby David" for the first time with hugs and kisses
Alex just opened a gift from David to her...a Boots doll
Grandmother and David meet for the first time
Wendy entertaining Alex in the hospital room singing "Ring Around the Rosey." Thanks Wendy for arriving early and keeping Alex all day!
David meets Jason, Layla, Reese and Reagan (not in pic)
Mimi and David meet for the first time
David and Grandaddy meet for the first time
Alex visiting mommy at the hospital. This was the longest (and first time overnight) I had ever been away from Alex. I missed her so much, but knew she was taken care of which allowed me time to bond with David.
Grandmother, David, Mommy and Alex
David meeting Babysitter Kayla
Alex helping mommy give David his first sponge bath. She is enjoying it much more than him as she is getting to play with water in the sink.

Random Fun
Arkansas' very own, Kris Allen, won American Idol tonight! Way to go Kris!!! You got our vote every week. :) Alex feeding Gracie lima beans
Alex being cute with her pigtails and helping mommy load the van.
Jumping at the Greek Food Festival
Notice the bandaid on her knee. So far, she has busted the same knee open to blood 5 times in the last week!
Daddy and Alex at the top of slide. Alex wanted to go down by herself once they got up there.
"It sure is funny watching daddy slide down the kiddie slide."
Alex did not want to sit for a pic while lil Reagan and Wendy were playing. We had a great time at the Greek Food Festival with good friends, good entertainment, and good food!

Kris Allen Day
We parked our strollers along with many others in the grassy area near the back of the amphitheater for the kids to have room and us picnic. We had a good time, but were a bit far from the stage. For Alex's first concert, I think she would have enjoyed the "concert" part more if she could have seen Kris Allen on stage.
Jessica and her kiddos: Taryn, Andrew, and Seth
Alex clapping to the music
Becky, Laura, Elizabeth, Iris and me. Becky was hosting a girls' night at her house, but moved it to Conway when Kris Allen made it to the top 3 which brought him home for a parade and concert. It was a last minute escape for me to get to go to Conway, (thankfully Chad let Chris off early to help - Thanks Chad!!!), but I was so thankful to get to go as we had a great time! Enjoying my "freedom" before nursing starts up again with lil David. :)
Kris and his wife in the Conway parade
Concert in downtown Conway. We were a good distance from the stage and only saw a portion of the screen, but we still had fun. Great atmosphere! and surprisingly, the concert was opened in prayer as Kris Allen is grounded in his faith.
We ended our girls' night at Cheers for dinner. What a great night! I have not done anything like this in a while. I felt like we were in college! For more pics, go to The How or Townsend Family link on the side which is where I got some of my pics from. Thanks, girls! :)
Finally, if you are not an American Idol fan, please just watch and vote for Kris Allen the next 2 weeks. :)
