Visitors

We had a special treat as Cathy came from Birmingham to visit this weekend and brought her new boyfriend, Jeff. We had a great time hanging out in which we endured this unusually cold April weekend with a stroll through the Rivermarket and Clinton Library, lunch at the local Greek restaurant: Leo's Greek Castle, a visit at an international dinner for my students, and topped off the weekend by worshipping together at our local church which was another special treat as our pastor's dad, Henry T. Blackaby, was the guest preacher. We enjoyed the visit, but of course, it was not long enough and yes, Jeff met our approval. :) Cathy also brought me another birthday gift as she had already sent me a Motherhood gift certificate. She arrived with the "must have" book by moms called Baby Bargains. I've loved it so far as it is like a consumer report style book with reviews, recommendations, cautions, money wasters, etc on every possible thing you could want or need to buy for this pregnancy/baby process.
