Chalk, Choo Choo, Fun, and Turning 32

"Mommy was distracted so I chewed sidewalk chalk while sister drew."

"Please move that bush so I can keep walking."

playing choo choo... this has become a new (messy) game that Alex created. She takes piles of stuff (blankets, dolls, toys, whatever) to various places in the house and says it is her choo choo. She always asks for us to put/sit david (or all of us) on it with her. Sometimes, she calls it a tea party or birthday party. She is so creative and funny!

Kisses on the choo choo

Alex and mommy having a real tea party (English style...hot tea w/milk & honey) Alex loved the tea.

Sliding at the Riverfront Park in downtown Little Rock (Robin, blow this up. Alex looks just like Amber to me here.)

"Mommy, will you come with me so I can slide down?"

"Here we go, Day Day!"

Enjoying lunch with Daddy on his last day of his research month last month. David chowed down on those black olives.

"These eggs are fun to play with, but I'm ready for my daily scattering of Alex's art off that bottom shelf."

Playdate with some Moms N More friends

"Mommy, the pollen is getting to me, too."

Having a good time everywhere we go!

Alex loved dying eggs and putting stickers on them.

Happy 2nd birthday, Daniel!

David's first experience with crayons started when I was out of the room. I came back thinking Alex was coloring and David was playing with his toys. He was having a ball holding the crayons and making marks on the paper.

Of course, he had to taste them, too.

Graeme was on hand taking pics at one of our Thursday night dinners which happened to be my 32nd birthday. Fun celebration with great friends! I guess I will remember 32 as my aging year because I couldn't remember how old I was when someone asked the week leading up to my birthday. Also, I think I found my first grey hair last week!!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat????? I thought 32 was supposed to still be young!?!

precious moments with Alex... Graeme, how did you get Alex to pose for you so perfectly?!
